He went on to start in a portraits studio then the local newspaper. He specialized as a wedding photographer for over 10 years. Thomas then moved from New England to London in 1997 where he continued shooting as a press photographer for well-known magazines taking him in new directions and experiences.
Thomas migrated to Stockholm in late 1999 where he began shooting for a local pictures agency. In 2004 I opened my studios in Stockholm.
Thomas began to switch back to using analog processes more and more after feeling there was something he loved that was missing from photography. He began to experiment with more and more alternative processes and using older cameras, lenses and larger formats.
Thomas continues to practice, Alternative processes such as Silver gelatin-dry plate, printing paper negatives, pinhole photography and bromoil.
